Watching Sporting KC rip New York Red Bulls satisfied me. When rivals meet, it's good to recall Missouri is just one state away. Chicago FIre lost to Kansas City at Sporting Park. Of course the Fire win vs. NYRB was soul satisfying as well (as I was in attendance at Toyota Park; first win of season for Fire win, first home win). The Fire loss at Houston was of course disappointing. I think Houston will be a dominant team in the eastern conference. It was an engaging game that was ultimately winnable. Fire could have brought home a point or three, but instead fall 1-1-4 in the first hex-go-round of MLS. At home against the Columbus Crew, Fire have a chance to start fresh win a home win against a tough rival under their belt. With luck Saturday at Toyota Park will register a high score on offense for the Fire
