Thanks to everyone who participated in Decentralized Networker Congress 2012. Fighting off exhaustion, the virtual gallery was optimized, photos hung, streams transmitted, guests interviewed, connections made, video recorded, URLs emailed, performances simulated, documents read and mail art sent. Regrouping this week to reflect and take stock of what happened.

Andrew Oleksiuk

A computer technician, artist and educator, Andrew Oleksiuk taught in the Interactive Arts and Media department at Columbia College Chicago and the Art and Technology Studies department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He received his BA in Digital Media from Columbia College Chicago in 1991 and completed his MFA in 2010 in Electronic Visualization from the College of Architecture and the Arts at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

A Ukrainian-American Chicago-based artist, Andrew is occasionally found lurking in network operations centers, research libraries, artists' studios, post offices and public spaces.
