A computer technician, artist and educator, Oleksiuk teaches in the Interactive Arts and Media department at Columbia College Chicago and the Art and Technology Studies department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Oleksiuk completed his MFA in 2010 in New Media Arts / Electronic Visualization from the College of Architecture and the Arts at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his BA in Digital Media from Columbia College Chicago in 1991.

A Ukrainian-American Chicago-based artist, Andrew is occasionally found lurking in network operations centers, research libraries, artists' studios, post offices and public spaces.
