This exploration of Fluxus activity includes contemporary re-interpretations of classic Fluxus scores and actions; new Fluxus performances by Fluxus artists; and a presentation of the Postal Art Network. Performers include the Chicago Fluxus Ensemble and invited Fluxus artists.

Andrew Oleksiuk will perform a new work entitled Magic Mushrooms, a live mixed-reality story of digital transformation filled with faeries, mail art and rubber clowns. A lighthearted 3D homage to Fluxus and Gutai, Magic Mushrooms features a virtual replica of Atsuko Tanaka's Electric Dress (1956), with music by K. Paul Boyev and William Harper.

!! Six Big Days of Events !! connected with Fluxus: classic Fluxus performances, new twists on Fluxus themed works, and analog and digital intermedia highlight the FluxFest Chicago as part of Without You I'm Nothing: Interactions series at the Museum of Contemporary Art. FluxFest Chicago runs from Tuesday February 15th to Sunday February 20th, 2011.
