School Daze

Started teaching this fall at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). The class called Realtime 3D: Modeling/Animation is being revamped as "the Second Life" class, with yours truly in charge. Lots of familiar faces at SAIC, due to the fact that Julio Obeillero, Heejoo Kim, Benjamin Thorp, and Adam Trowbridge all from UIC are there as well. I also know several people in the department from the past. Working out the kinks in the first few weeks; I have high hopes for both this class and my future in the Chicago Art& Technology scene.

Continue teaching at Columbia College Chicago. New twist includes a new class - Media Theory and Design 2, a romp through motion arts, film, video, history of computer art and interactivity, with stops along the way in the area of Fluxus, technology history, and media theory. FluxFest is planned for late October.

Working on my paper presentation at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in my copious free time.
