Ukrainian Time Machine

Naomi Uman's _Ukrainian Time Machine_ resulted from her multi-year residency (homesteading) in Cherkassy oblast. Naomi spoke of her acculturation to the Ukrainian community, the work ethic she adopted there, and the insight she gained from observing the cultural norms. Very inspirational to my own current work, I see her films as evidence of avant garde pioneerism in Ukraine embodying a transmodern aesthetic.
