Deeply Troubled
This is all starting to trouble me very deeply. In her presentation on the panel "How to Draw a Bunny: Reconsidering Mail Art" Kornelia Roder from Staatliches Museum Schwerin discussed the correspondence between Ray Johnson and Eastern Europe, including members of Artpool in Hungary. I see I am now faced with this history of censorship as real, as my own. Censorship is political, economic, real, disempowering, and against my core values.
